![]() Overall, the graphics are stunning and the game controls are fairly simplistic. This gives way to great and epic battles against other players instead of a computer program, and it also allows you to form a team of trusted sailors and captains to conquer and/or defend what's yours. They had to take it lightly to start, seeing as it was designed to be an MMO game, which means all sorts of players can access and play the game live with one another. As the game becomes more popular, the producers will release patches and updates that will allow for more features and more exploration of the gigantic world. One of the first things you may notice upon downloading this game and playing it is that it's not entirely complete as of yet. In other words, it's like one of those war/conquest games, only this is set on the seas in the Caribbean and all the ships (Frigates, Brigs, Schooners, Man 'O Wars, etc) are very accurate for the time. You can actually play alongside hundreds of other players in MMO fashion, while taking over ports, tracking down your enemies and defeating them, and protecting what's yours. For lovers of video games like Assassin's Creed Black Flag, you may be into the pirate genre and thus love the experience of big ships and naval warfare, and so you may also love a game like Naval Action, available for the PC.īelieve it or not, there weren't any full-scale pirating, naval ship games until Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag came along a few years ago from Ubisoft.
